Vintage order Aldo Landi Bitossi Vase * Italian Art Pottery

The unique texture of the clay, graphic design, hand application of bright glazes, and unique shape make Bitossi pottery a favorite of many collectors of art ceramics.

Fun paisley and foliage designs are incised into the surface. Earthy ochre, yellow and green glazes highlight the designs.

The thick clay body contains the rough, grainy texture characteristic of Italian ceramicist Aldo Londi.

With one exception, this piece is in very good condition. There is a shallow 1/4" wide chip on the shoulder (photo # 7).
