This is a wonderful antique European grain sack dating from the 1930s with unusual and rare printed stripes! This sack was hand woven and was once used for storing grains. The quality is AMAZING ~ all woven by hand ~ I was lucky to find many of these sacks and so we have a few varieties of tones and stripes for you to browse on our Etsy and eBay stores! ( My eBay store can be found by following my www.textiletrunk.com link in SHOP) These textiles were made to stand the test of time and are ideal for upholstery projects, pillow covers, bath mats, table runners, dog beds, curtains, lampshades, etc! ~

ITEM SPECIFICS:

COLOR/TONE: dark French blue

MEASUREMENTS: 21 inches by 48 inches ( because it's a sack, each side measures this )

WEAVE/WEIGHT: This sack has a heavy NUBBY plain weave , very heavy!

CONDITION: This sack has been order freshly laundered and it is ready to use! WONDERFULLY primitive, the patches are heavenly !!! There is a large patch on each side. There are a few pale marks that didn't fully wash ~ ~ This is a rustic, primitive , timeworn textile, ideal for primitive, rustic interiors ~ ( please see photographs using the zoom feature to view condition closely ) Condition reflected in the price
