VBCM Italian hand-painted ceramic figurine of a beautiful young woman carrying a shallow basket, from Vincenzo Bertolotti Ceramiche Milanesi. One can almost hear the fabric of her dress flapping in the wind. Her hands are too order busy holding the basket steady to fix the shoulder of her dress.
This piece is pretty enough to stand on its own, but may be put to practical use. Let the basket be where you keep your favorite pairs of earrings.

This piece is approximately 14 7/8" tall, with a base approximately 7 3/4" long and 6" wide.
It is in excellent condition, free from crazing, chips, cracks, and repairs. There is a rough patch on the base behind her. It looks like it might be a signature, but I can't make it out.
