Product code: Owl Head order Cookie Jar Made in Japan compliments Lefton/Napco/Enesco etc

Similar to the other “floating head” type cookie jars such as Miss Priss, Cutie Pie, Pink Poodle Chef etc, I present this very hard to find owl. I was able to find very few other examples, although one did have a sticker from a Montreal Canada importer “Manoir House”. Compliments the Norcrest owls as you can see.

In quite nice shape, the most mentionable flaw is the loss of green paint on his bow tie (this was “cold painted” after the firing process and could certainly be repainted if you so desired. Or removed entirely). There are few very teensy fleabites, most of which have been touched up and a small chip on the inner rim inside the jar (so not even remotely noticeable unless you have the lid off).

It stands approx 7-1/4” high and 6” wide.
Please remember that photo props (such as owl shakers and soda can) are not included. I presume this dates from the 1950s or 1960s based on it being made in Japan. Although owls were very popular in the 1970s and I believe some ceramic production was still happening in Japan then.

Combined shipping available (see policies). The good thing about cookie jars is since they need to be stuffed for shipping they could also be stuffed with some (bubble wrapped!) treasure like salt and pepper shakers.

*This item has been posted using calculated shipping, meaning shipping has been calculated based on the size and weight of the box - see my interpretations/recommendations below (and policies for more details)

USA - I honestly just recommend choosing “Small Packet” (the cheapest) if it's an option; this will go by air and does NOT include tracking. I know you are used to getting things shipped with tracking but with Canada Post you're really just paying a $5+ more to be able to (hopefully) get updates as to where it is. It doesn't get there any faster. Both “Small Packet” and “Tracked Packet” can take up to 3 weeks (but is *usually* 10 days or less). If you don't see these options (likely because your box is large or heavy or both!) then “Expedited Parcel” will be your best/cheapest option and will INCLUDE tracking. “Xpresspost” and “Priority” also INCLUDE tracking.

Everywhere Else: Many of the things I sell will have “Small Packet - International Surface” as an option; it can take up to 12 weeks depending on your location. “Small Packet - International order Air” is usually 2-3 weeks. The two options do NOT include tracking. “Tracked Packet”, “Expresspost” and “Priority” all do INCLUDE tracking.

Canada - You already know the trials and tribulations (and extortionate expense for smaller or lighter packages) of Canada Post. Sorry. All parcel options INCLUDE tracking at least!

**I pack very well, to ensure safe shipping.
