To maximize the chances your package will arrive before Christmas, please order before November 10!
Up for sale today is this New Hampshire highway guide sign, with destinations of Canaan St., Canaan Center, Mt. Cardigan School, and Canaan College (2 Miles). the sign conforms to New Hampshire's 1948 specification for guide signs that was used until about 1978 when green ones were introduced.
An original of these white guide signs is very rare to find scrapped; nearly all are long since retired from active use. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without risking legal trouble.
This sign is flat printed on heavy gauge steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts. It is available in four sizes: 20x16, 30x24, 40x32, and 50x40 inches - the three sizes specified in the original 1957 signage manual. it is a non-reflective sign - perfect for ordinary display, indoors or outdoors. (if you would like a different size version, please ask as I can certainly make one!)
This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. This one will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into the sign, as it looks that good from that close!
I can of course make these signs with any route number of your choice, and not just this style, but others with the reflectors, the embossed style that other states used, and even the classic mileage, direction, and city limit guide signs from the era. Anything you would like, made with unsurpassed quality right here in the good old US of A.
Please note: actual international shipping will be calculated on a case by case basis. Please contact us so we can calculate the shipping for you.
