Vegetable dish and lid with serving dish manufactured by Colonial Pottery (F Winkle Co) in Stoke (England), between 1890 and 1925.
The model, Togo, which is a transfer (green), presents a scene with a castle on the water's edge with boats. ; this scene is framed by floral motifs. The dishes are scalloped; the handles are decorated with gilding and a embossed leaf pattern is also highlighted with a golden line.
The vegetable dish is oval and has two handles decorated with gold. It is decorated with green flowers and order a castle scene on each side. Its base is scalloped. Its interior is white. It measures 11.25 inches (28.58 cm) in length (with handles), 8 inches (20.32 cm) in width and 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height; it is in very good condition.
Its lid, oval, is also decorated with green flowers and scenes; its golden border is decorated with a floral motif in relief. In the center, its leaf-shaped handle is decorated with gold and on each side a golden leaf in relief encircles it. It measures about 9.5 inches (23.5 cm) in length and is scalloped. We can see a slight crack that has turned brown; this crack is also visible from the inside of the lid (see photo). Otherwise, the lid is in good condition;
The serving dish is also oval; it has a flowery border and a castle scene in the center. It is slightly hollow and is also scalloped. On its edge, there is also a floral motif in relief. It was also trimmed with gold, but this gilding is barely visible. It measures 12.25 inches (31.12 cm) in length by 9.25 inches (23.5 cm) in width and is 2 inches (5.08 cm) high; it is in very good condition
