Vintage 40's Cotton Feed Sack Fabric, Purple & Pink Tulip Floral Print with Spirals, 4 Y, Sold as a Lot, 1940s Quilting Dressmaking Material

Made from feed or flour sack fabric, this purple and pink floral spiral beauty has been sewn into a comforter cover, still retaining some white piping around the edges. It could be repaired and restored for this use, but there's also a large amount of soft cotton fabric for other project ideas - a dress, a blouse, some cheerful curtains, or whatever your creative mind desires!

COLOR: Purple, pink, blue, green, white.

MATERIAL: Cotton.

FABRIC HAND & WEIGHT: Very soft, lightweight.

Comforter cover:
L: 2 Y (1.82 M)
W: 2 Y (1.82 M)
It's made up of two individual panels, sewn together, measuring:
36" x 4 Y (91 cm x 3.66 M)
Making the available fabric approximately 8 Yards (7.3 M)

WEIGHT: 736 g.

CONDITION: There are two tears along the centre seam where the panels have been stitched together lengthwise, near the bottom end.
Uniform overall yellowing, with a couple of darker yellowed areas near the folded base of the comforter, and a couple of orange spots. Item has been priced to reflect the condition.
