The underside of this object is made of terracotta.
On the center of the banner an inscription in relief
LD&C PARIS.
Probably from the late nineteenth or early 1900 when lions were back in vogue.
It is a very beautiful decorative object for an office but also a rare model to exhibit in a showcase.
