MATERIALS
----------------
- removable polystyrene head, covered with pink sand
- body made from a recycled CD and an upcycled tin, covered with artificial fur, decorated with sequins and gemstones
- legs made from recycled wood pieces, covered with artificial fur and pink sand
- platform made from an upcycled wooden kitchen board


HARUNA'S STORY
--------------------------------
The creation is named HARUNA. Compared to other bears she is a very blessed being but in the end they are all looking for the same thing in life...

She has never experienced how it feels to be afraid of music. Some have, because they were forced to stand on a floor as hot as glowing lava and to move their paws quickly, while joyful music played in the background. Haruna is not a dancing bear.

She has also never experienced how it feels when the taste of iron spread in the mouth. Some have, because they were kept in small cages, stressfully going up and down and biting into the cage bars, while waiting for the next show to be started. Haruna is not a circus bear.

Also, she has never experienced how it feels to be unable to chew food. Some have, because their teeth got stolen when they were young and innocent to make sure, they will not be able to bite dogs attacking them, while spectators are cheering and placing bets. Haruna is not a fight bear.

The only thing little Haruna has in common with a dancing bear, a circus bear and a fight bear is that she is seeking for a warm and peaceful home.


CLEANING
---------------
The creation is best to be cleaned carefully with a dry and soft paint brush.


PACKAGING
-----------------
I use new cardboard boxes for the shipping.

The creation inside the cardboard box is packed and fixed individually to make sure it arrives in its new home without any damages. I use recycled materials such as paper journals, cartons and bubble wraps. As far as possible I try to avoid the use of adhesive tape as it often leaves sticky residues which make a reuse of the packing material by the recipient impossible.


SPECIAL GIFT
-------------------
Every creation contains some extra material which is packed in a small envelope made from a recycled book page. You can use this material as replacement material (just in case, like replacement buttons) or to start your own creative project.

I have always loved this kind of gift myself! In case something breaks while cleaning or just due to a misshap you are able to fix it yourself with appropriate material. However, I also had replacement material (especially gemstones and sequins) at home that I luckily never had to use and that I now use for my creations. Partly this material is very old and not available anymore so that it gives my creations an even greater touch of uniqueness.
