This antique, rustic baking board comes from an old bakery and was hand-made many decades ago.
To ensure stability for many years, the dovetail technique was used, with two fixed, recessed cross struts.
Each baking board is therefore an absolutely unique piece.
It has magnificent signs of age-related wear, and a magnificent patina has developed.
