• Birdhouse has 1.5-inch entry hole for eastern bluebirds and tree swallows
• If you wish to to attract chickadees and wrens, attach the included (1.25-inch hole) entrance adapter plate. This smaller hole will help keep out invasive house sparrows, which can harm eggs and nestlings.
• Made of natural cedar – will last years longer than pine
• No staples or nails used for construction. Constructed with deck screws for longevity
• order Side panel tilts out for safe viewing of eggs and chicks, and for easy access for cleaning
• Well ventilated and holes for drainage
• Kerfed interior panel to help fledglings leave the nest
• Raccoon/predator guard included (if you so choose), to help protect nestlings and eggs from raccoons and cats. You'll need a screwdriver to attach the wire raccoon guard.

PLEASE KNOW that the wire raccoon predator guards are hand-cut from galvanized steel hardware cloth and should be handled with work gloves. The guards contain sharp edges and sharp points and should not be handled by children. Do not purchase the houses with raccoon guards if you do not plan on using the guards. Thank you. :)
