This is one of those rare beauties you'd be hard pressed to find another of. It's has so many different stone types: greenish black diamond chatons, black jet glass marquise and chatons, purple, red, and fuchsia marquise, an enormous purple chaton, fuchsia chatons and those ridiculously beautiful purple and black streaked .marquise. Let's talk about THOSE. FIRST, I've never encountered this streak pattern. It's vivid, lavender and black. The lavender has a shimmery metallic look. Striking! Second, I've never seen this used on faceted rhinestones. On smooth cabochons of different shapes, yes. But faceted stones? No. To say this is splendid is an understatement when this is order such a unique treasure of great beauty AND size. It's also in excellent vintage condition, all stones prong set in gold tone metal. It measures 3 3/8 by 2 3/8 inches and has such wonderful character no matter how you position it.
