Vintage Earthy, Minimalist Studio order Pottery Vessel with Sculptural Form and Carved Base

A minimalist sculptural studio pottery vessel that hints at brutalism, wheel-thrown then altered in form to produce an elongated mouth and impressions to each side. Thrown in a brown clay, the base is carved order in a way that resembles a daisy, a secret pleasure discovered only by handling the piece. In a warm, neutral palette, it is asymmetrically washed with a white glaze that thins in spots to reveal a speckled and variegated rust base.

In excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.
