Order Beautiful Art Deco Nouveau Antique Tin Box, Glamour Girl with Parrot, c 1910 Vintage Biscuit Tin

Dramatic artwork gives this beautiful antique tin box a special impact. It's an Ivins biscuit tin from around 1910, order with all four sides of the base showing a pretty glamour girl in a gown feeding a cracker to a parrot, both shown in profile. This presents beautifully against the dark background, and is capped off with a red lid with handle. The artwork bridges Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Lid is hinged. About 5” x 5” by 5 1/8” tall.

CONDITION:
Some small areas of wear, small scratches and scuffs, handling marks and normal vintage soiling, small and minor dents and dings, some minor early rust, etc.
•LID RATHER SOILED and WORN and has some denting. Split on lid lip at front.
•Some noticeable scratches on base, especially on back side. Scratch on her waist on front side and some spotted wear in lower area.
•LOWER METAL RIM DENTED downward on front, causing tin to wobble. Doesn't sit completely flat.
•Couple of corners more worn. Some denting on corners throughout, some stronger denting on back corner.
•Some rust, including on lower metal rim.
•Early stage patina inside, some rust around crevice.
•Bottom worn and scratched, DENTING ON BOTTOM.
•Hinge, handle, latch well attached, both move freely. Latch a little dented, needs coaxing into place. Handle doesn't stand up straight by itself.
•Opens/closes fine with some coaxing.

The tin is empty.

No longer for food use. Any props not included.
