This is a simple, elegant and gorgeous framed either lithograph or print d
depicting a bird's eye view of the Parc de Monceaux in Paris from the Boulevard Malesherbes entrance. In stunning detail, it illustrates a typical Parisian scene with people and horse-drawn carriages. The Arc de Triomphe is in the background. It looks like it's from the 19th century or early 20th. It was purchased and custom-framed in the 1990s, and the piece is below plexiglass.
Height of frame: 15 1/2"
Width of frame: 16 7/8"
Height of image: 7 3/4"
Width of image: 9 1/2"
Frame depth: 11/16"
The piece is in very good condition, but so there are no surprises, there are a few nicks on the frame (see photo); nevertheless, since the frame is wooden, it adds a unique and rustic flare to the piece.
There also seems to be a barely noticeable crease on the upper lefthand portion of the piece (again barely noticeable). Finally, the back of the framed piece has a slight tear and liquid marks.
Price takes all of this into account.
