This circa 1899 American pressed glass pitcher commemorates, in pictures, Admiral Dewey's role in the Spanish American War.
It depicts; the ship order USS Olympia, crossed rifles, cannon balls, sabers, a canon, the American Flag and a bust of Admiral Dewey, all, under a rope lip border.
The work is attributed to Beatty Brady Glass of Dunkirk Indiana.
It stands 9 1/2" tall and is 8" from spout to handle.
Fine antique condition with expected bottom wear and free of cracks or chips. A fine example for daily use or as a display piece.
