Super S W E E T (pun intened!), these fun earrings feature Artisan hand-painted enamels, paired with THE most incredible implosion lampwork from the talented Elisabetta Cappello. If you look at the close-up photo, you can see the zillions of tiny fingers reaching upward – each a dot of glass, perfectly laid out in neat rows, then stretched and pulled inward by the heat of the flame … only possible at the hands of an extremely talented artist. When I purchased this pair of beads, I was thinking watermelon all the way. But when I sat down to make these last night, I couldn't get away from the fact of how perfectly they matched the strawberry enamels sitting just a few inches way. I just HAD to put them together. I also added fun, Artisan lampwork leaves and berries, as well as brass caps and chain, Czech glass flowers, colorful flower caps, Czech glass rings, and sparkly fire-polished Czech glass – a real strawberry festival for your ears! This is a LONG pair, hanging 3 ¼” to the base of the strawberries, and about 4 ¾” to the base of the longest drop. They can easily be shortened to just over 3” if you prefer.
