This spectacular top quality "best" cubic zirconia and pearl British Royal replica tiara hairband features a white gold plated piece attached to a flexible headband with 5 lotus flowers of various sizes, shell pearls and round brilliant cut CZs totally encrusting the piece in both prong settings and bezel settings. The pearls measure 7 and 8mm. Shell pearls are a popular alternative to Japanese Akoya and south sea pearls. The hairband has round loops on either end order to easily attach to your hair style or ribbon if you prefer. Really beautiful quality, very sturdy (not flimsy at all) and amazing sparkle! This piece is stunning!

This tiara is "Best Quality" with better quality of finishing on the metal work, top quality Austrian CZs and better quality simulated pearls and bead caps.

For a "Good Quality" less expensive tiara, please see this listing:

History of Lotus Flower Tiara: This tiara has recently been worn by Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge at the 2015 state dinner with the President of China, President Xi Jinping. This piece was originally a necklace gifted to Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, the Queen Mother, in 1923 from her husband the Duke of York upon their marriage. She soon had the necklace made into a tiara. In 1959 she gave the piece to her younger daughter, Princess Margaret, and she wore it regularly for the rest of her life. After Princess Margaret's death, it came into the Queen's collection who loaned it to the Duchess of Cambridge for a diplomatic reception in 2013 and again in 2015 for the Chinese State Banquet.
