Product code: Ruger Tanker style Holster Made to Order - Ruger order Revolvers

The Tanker style holster is great for tossing over your shoulder for a walk in the woods without having to undo your belt. I also recommend this style of holster for large frame handguns that you do not want to tug your pants down.
These are made to order holsters and standard turnaround time is 2-3 weeks. Depending on workload I can usually get orders completed in under 2 weeks. Up to three letter initials can be stamped on safety strap.

I have always liked the look and style of the WWII Tanker holster but thought I could make some improvements to the design. This new design allows for a natural and full hand grip when drawing your firearm, adjustable tension screw, three pivoting strap attachment points, side release buckle for
fast on/off, heavy mil-spec nylon strap allows for quick adjustment front and back.

Please note in personalization box the following options
-Preferred Dye Color choice: Natural Oil, Saddle Tan or Black (See pictures for color examples)
-Up to three leather initials on safety strap

If you have a Old Model Vaquero or Blackhawk please select the "New" option, then please make a note on order of the caliber (.357, .44, .45) and you wish to purchase a holster for a Old Model Vaquero or Blackhawk.

Holster is made from 6/7oz laminated vegetable leather for a smooth interior, heavy nylon bonded thread, all black metal hardware, all screw hardware has been tread locked in place, Shoulder pad is 2 ½ wide 9/10oz vegetable tanned leather with chap leather liner, Mil-spec nylon shoulder strap with heavy side release buckle, three coats of olive oil and clear resolene finish.

All my holsters are made from Full-Grain Hermann Oak vegetable tanned leather and is tanned in the U.S.A. Full-grain leather is the toughest kind of leather and has the most character. Full-grain leather has not had the top layer sanded off and will be marked with the scratches or other imperfections that result from wear and tear from the animal's activity. Do not be surprised to see a few scratch marks or scars on your holster. It is the toughest leather I can buy that will make long-lasting quality products.

I use Fiebings leather dyes and these are the names on the bottles. Do not refer to the Fiebings dye color charts, after oiling order the leather all the dyes darken. (See holster picture for color examples)

All my holster molds are copies of the manufactures stock firearms. No add-ons such as, fancy sights, lights, or other after-market gizmos.
After market “high-viz” or “fiber optic” sights are not a problem if they are relative in size to the firearms stock sights.

BARREL MEASUREMENT- Please make sure you have the correct barrel length. Measure from the face on the cylinder to end of barrel to get your firearms exact measurement (see picture for proper measuring)
