Give your abode a bite of the Big Apple with our reprint of JH Colton's 1857 Map of New York City (alongs with parts of Brooklyn and Williamsburgh). The map contains several inset maps as well.
Besides a home or study room setting, this print will fit nicely in a vintage-themed cafe or coffeehouse.
We have five sizes available:
A) 36x18" in 3 sections of 12x18" each or in 1 piece
B) 48x24" in 3 sections of 16x24" each or in 1 piece
C) 60x30" in 3 sections of 20x30" each
D) 72x36" in 3 sections of 24x36" each
E) 90x45" in 3 sections of 30x45" each
The smaller sizes work best as decor pieces where legibility is less important, while the larger sizes are intended to deliver a dramatic impact to a room's look.
You have a choice of a the original vintage multi-color scheme, a beige version, an inverted blue or an inverted black version that give your room a chic but vintage look.
However, we strongly recommend measuring your intended wall first, due to the cost and amount of the ink involved we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for wrong size. (We do, however, offer refunds and exchanges for post office damage. Please see our shop policies for more details.)
Please note: While we order digitally enhanced our reprint, the original source material housed at the Library of Congress was damaged.
We aren't able to offer framed/matted prints, but we recommend checking your local art/craft supply store and/or the following websites: www.craigframes.com or framebridge.com.
We print on Aurora Fine Art with archival inks. The paper has a nice, slight watercolor paper texture feel to it.
Your print comes in a heavy-duty mailing tube via USPS priority mail, so you won't have to wait long. (1st class mail is not available due to the print & shipping tube size.)
