This gorgeous old print shows a young girl that was pulled to safety by a newfoundland dog. Print is titled " Saved " and was Pub. by W. C. Co., Inc. Tyrone, Pa. This was done by artist Edwin Landseer. This old print is from the 1920's era and is in excellent condition. There is no waviness, staining, fading, creasing or tearing. Colors are strong. Print is exceptional and in pristine condition.
PROFESSIONALY FRAMED.
I have cleaned the glass on both sides and backed the print with acid free mat board to protect it from the elements. Frame's back is sealed with brown paper to keep framed print in excellent clean condition for many years to come.
FRAME AND GLASS
Old frame is probably from the 1900 era and in very good condition. All seams are tight with no cracking and frame is very sturdy. The only damage to the frame is two inner rim cracks to the gesso. Please see photos as these are minor. All gesso is tight to the frame. Frame has been restored to a rich antique gold with lighter gold highlights on the inner and outer rims as well as the gesso flowers. Frame's center has a faux marbled finish. A clear protective mat finish has been applied to keep frame in pristine condition for may years to come. Frame's back is clean as well. The glass covering the old print is replacement glass.
