This listing is for a handwoven item. Weaving is one of the oldest surviving crafts. The history of weaving dates back to the Neolithic era - 12,000 years or more. Handwoven textiles contain the history and artisanship of early weavers that cannot be replaced by machine-made, mass-produced fabric.
Each thread that makes up the fabric of a handwoven item must be individually and mindfully placed.
My goal is to create contemporary heirlooms for you and your family. The workmanship, care, and high quality materials that are put into these handwoven pieces will make them treasured home textiles for years to come.

- All items are laundered with a free & clear detergent prior to shipping.

Sustainability:
Sustainability is important to me and I try to be as sustainable as possible. I have created the following sustainability guidelines for my business:
- Packaging with as much recycled content as possible, prioritizing post-consumer recycled content.
- Packaging that is as easily recyclable as possible.
- The carbon footprint across the entire supply chain is considered and materials are sourced locally whenever possible. I aim to be as honest and transparent about my supply chain as possible.
- I only use natural plant and protein fibers in my work, as the process of creating synthetic fibers leaches chemicals into the watershed and either requires deforestation for cellulose or the use of plastic.

Shipping and delivery:
- Shipping speeds are estimates and do not include the time it takes to make custom or made-to-order items. If you are purchasing a made to order item, I will confirm the turn-around time with you after receiving your order.
- I offer a priority shipping upgrade. If you would like to add a signature requirement for your delivery, please contact me before placing your order.
