Antique Folding Utensils Knife Fork Spoon Combo Utensils John Pound & Co Leadenhall Indian Wars, Spanish American War order Era

I doubt you'll find another set like this! Bought at auction for more, but we need to invest in new stock!!

What you're looking at is a nickeled brass and steel 19th Century folding knife, fork and spoon combination made by John Pound & Co Leadenhall. Totally authenticated by the markings you see in the photos. In addition to John Pound & Co it shows 81 82&83, written just as I typed, under company name. This is quite an unusual find because of its age and cross over potential for collectors.

This marking appeared in 1861 when John took over the company upon his father's death. Research indicates this set dates back to the last quarter of order the 19th century and would be appropriate for display with an Indian War or Spanish American War of officer's private purchase of field or mess items. Measures 3-1/2" closed and just about 7" open. All three springs have a nice snap when opening and closing. No pitting and appears in excellent condition.
