order Tarsia Lignea (in English "Marquetry") is an ancient artisan technique born in Italy in the fourteenth century which consists in the combination of pieces of wood of various types or colors to create figures

To keep alive this technique that is disappearing due to technological progress, I decided to create modern keychains with car logos... as per tradition, my keychains are made with 3 mm wooden plates (this makes the inlay extremely durable... If damaged it can be restored several times), obtained from logs and reclaimed wood given to me by cabinet makers and parquet seller... Thanks to my constant research I can offer my customers a wide choice of wood species (more than fifty) from all over the world and of almost every color (I want to clarify that all used woods are not artificially colored and they are assembled in the inlay according to their natural color)

To create the inlay for a keychain it can take from 3 to 15 hours of work... Two more plates of cross-fiber wood are glued which make the keychain 9 mm thick (and this makes it indestructible)... After that you have to sand it by hand and sprinkle it with oil... for a glossy finish it takes much longer because the paint will be mirror polished... It can be a whole week since you place your order to complete a keychain but I can guarantee that the wait will pay for itself... After all it takes time to create beautiful things

Each keychain is made to order and it will be as unique as the person who will commission it: you can choose types of wood and dimensions, and if you are undecided I will help you without problem
