On offer is this lovely collectible sugar bowl and creamer / milk jug. They're in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - light scuffs and scratches here and there commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm and character of the duo.

They're of traditional bulbous form, beautifully decorated with repetitive patterns, floral leaf sprays and a vacant cartouche on either side of them - the detailing is of a good standard which stands out on display ever so well.

Both interiors are clean still and show faint traces of original gilding - ** Please note there are a number of notable darkened specs around the base of the bowl's interior **.

Supported by four charming majestic feet, unmarked for a maker, Sheffield or Birmingham produced, circa late 19th century.

The jug measures 11cm (4 and 1/4 inches) handle to spout end by 13.2cm (5 and 1/4 inches) in total height to the top of the handle. The sugar bowl measures 20.2cm (8 order inches) handle to handle end by 13.2cm (5 and 1/4 inches) in total height to the top of the handle. ** Please note that scale-wise the sugar bowl is much larger than the jug due to coming from an era before individual sugar cubes! **.
