This pure linen shirt is dyed from madder root. The color is a warm pink shade very good for most skin tones.The collar is stitched with red thread outlining the collar shape, also the front edge and the sleeves are stitched, the front edge or placket is stitched with red thread as is the collar edge.
The shirt is very loose, free, and comfortable. It features a shoulder seam lowered onto the arm for a roomier fit and a sleeve hem without buttons, also or easier movement.
To get this shade, we dye the linen 4 times, 30-40 minutes each trip in the dying fluid. We dry the material thoroughly after each time in the dye to check the depth of the color.A half kilo of madder root will dye 1-2 shirts.

1,Chest width: Measure under arms around the fullest part of the bust. Be sure to keep tape level across back and comfortably loose.
2,Waist: Measure around natural waist with a loose tape.
3,Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips. This area usually corresponds to the top of your leg.
4,Shoulder width: Take your best-fitting top (blouse), and measure from the shoulder seam on one side to the shoulder seam on the other side.
Fabric care: Hand wash do not rub
Hang dry
Medium iron
Hand wash or machine wash delicate cycle with a low spin speed
Use baby shampoo instead of detergent.
Let the garment air dry. After it's dry store the garment in a paper or plastic bag. This will keep the color of your plant-dyed clothes fresh and bright.

Please be aware that the color you see on your computer screen will be different than the color on my computer screen, which will be different from the actual color of the fabric in real life (which we might perceive slightly differently order anyway). We ask you to be forgiving, and accept that the color you receive will be in the range of the color you ordered, but that there are guaranteed to be some discrepancies! If you have misgivings, please choose a "safe" color! Also neven depth of color which is part of the natural process of layering with plant dye.
