Twinkle Toes, HTF, Bent Knee, Madame Alexander, 8" Doll, Hat, Ballerina Bear Accessory, order Box, Wrist Tag, Paperwork
Twinkle Toes HTF Bent Knee Madame Alexander 8" Doll Hat Ballerina Bear Accessory Box.
Twinkle Toes, HTF, Bent Knee, Madame Alexander, 8" Doll, Hat, Ballerina Bear Accessory, Box, Wrist Tag, Paperwork was produced in 2002 for 2003 release. Good condition original box with clear label, nice overall finish and shape, exception being minimal isolated lighter areas in the finish, but overall still suitable for gifting, nice flat lid top. Photos of sold doll shown were carefully and thoroughly compared to this available doll and confirmed to be in near identical condition. The only difference is that the pastel plaid fabric is sewn on each doll, so the placement of the plaid colors varies from doll to doll.Restringing was not needed due to proper care/storage. (NOTE: Doll descriptive details in 2nd paragraph). Hair retains original style, ribbons and hairnet. Bent knees function as new. Plush ballerina bear is in open original plastic bag. Bear is jointed at neck, shoulders, thighs. All doll's garments, ballet shoes and soles, trims, as well are exemplary. This set is hard to find complete and in this lovely condition. The bear is not always present, as she came also with just the doll. This set looks as though it just left the doll factory. Please study photos to confirm description. NOTE: SHIPPING OVERAGE MAY APPLY, depending on destination order. Only actual shipping label cost is charged.
Plush Ballerina Bear is super sweet, with her black bead eyes, brown, embroidered facial features and upturned mouth. She's the perfect partner for Twinkle Toes; posable, too, as she is jointed. Bear bodice and toe shoes are a cotton suede fabric and a tiny bow adorns one ear. Both bear and doll are ballerina dancers. Six lattice pattern, sparkle tulle layers comprise her tutu, in alternating pastel colors. It stands out in a magical pouf, surrounding her in a fluffy flounce. Her leotard is silk or a synthetic silk look-alike, just lovely, with a larger scale check fabric that creates varying pastel panels. On this doll, they are arranged so that there is a different pastel color on each side of the bodice. Pastel picot edges the bodice top, while her satin sash has a dimensional full blown rose front and center. I love the dainty satin straps that tie in back at her neckline. This treatment is so compatible with the side buns and little pink bow accent on each. This inseparable pair is quite unusual and certainly precious in all the details that have been incorporated into their matching ballet ensembles, both light on their feet!
MY MISSION: I provide a doll for you that is fully ready for display on arrival at your home, beautiful and sturdy. Any flaws I detect which I could not remedy will be documented in the listing and doll priced accordingly. I keep extensive computer files on each listing with doll and box images.)The boxes, being the original homes for the dolls, are in variable condition, dependent on the original owner's care and storage. I will always mention box condition with the listing, or sleep eyes that open manually.
MY PROCESS: I remove from the box to re-style the hair and inspect/correct for anything that might be remiss. I feel this step is more important than listing "never removed from box." My patrons will know there will be no loose snaps, no tangled locks, damaged apron strings, no fragile, weakened rubber bands, ( I re-string when needed) no stained or faded clothing or problems with undergarments, no necklaces trapped in the neck or tresses. I restring with elastic cord, the preferred archival choice of "doll doctors."
MY PRICES: I calculate on: How readily available (or, conversely, hard to find,) whether complete with all accessories, my costs, my labor, condition of restored doll returned to box after completing the work. To include a doll stand with your order, please add $1.00 to your total.
