Handmade Embroidered Silk order Pajamas

Pictured is a pair of handmade ivory silk pajamas, estimated to have been created circa 1930.
The attention to detail here is amazing! Seams are finished with order tiny, vibrant purple x stitches at armholes, collar, both front shirt pockets, the 5-button placket, and the bottom of the pants. The shirt collar, left breast, and lower legs of the pants are embroidered with the same, Asian inspired sailboat in varying sizes, and shades of purple, lavender, and white. Birds flying in the sky and rolling waves are also part of the embroidery, as is the small figure of a person. Is this a real scene, drawn from memory or life experience, or perhaps something from a work of fiction or a product of someone's imagination – we will never know, but it's fantastic to think about!
These pajamas look as though they were sewn with meticulous care and then folded neatly and stored for the last nine decades. There are no obvious signs of wear.
