This suit is not only suitable for Chinese wedding bridegroom, but also suitable for daily work formal wear or some formal occasions.

Please note that:
For the trousers, our tailor will leave the trouser length open for the customers. This is because it is difficult to get the correct length order if not measured in person. He leaves the length open so it can be changed to your length more accurately.

This suit is in keeping with traditional Chinese tailoring with some modern tweeks in colour and material. The frog buttons, mandarin collar and upturned cuffs maintain the traditional style of a Chinese Jacket.

A Brief History:
This Chinese Jacket is called ‘Tang Suit' (唐装). Despite it's name, the jacket originates from late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). It was originally a three-quarter length jacket for Qing officials, but later became shorter as it transformed into daily fashion. After a period of quiet, the tang suit has come back into popularity since the 1980's. Kung Fu movies by Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan can be credited for an influence in its popularity. Not to mention it featuring in The Matrix. The style also has strong links to traditional martial arts such as Tai Chi where the frog buttoned garments are still the choice of style.
