Lois Prothero was an amateur artist from Anacortes WA. My research shows she exhibited with other local artists in the 1960's in NW Washington. This 8 x 10 oil painting was done on masonite in subtle hues of yellow, green, brown & gray. Wood frame is not professionally done but still enhances the mid century look & makes piece measure 14" tall x 12" wide. Real art for just the right color scheme & theme!
