Here is a very rare find antique 18-19th (Ming Dynasty/Qing Dynasty?) Century.
Here is a very rare find antique 18-19th (Ming Dynasty/Qing Dynasty?) Century Chinese hand painted in cobalt blue under glass with tiny black spots throughout the piece.
There is very old patina present inside the bowl. I tried to clean it but very hard and I decided to leave it alone as it may show the age of the antique piece.
You can see very tiny shiny bits at the bottom formed in the hard residue/patina.
The blue cobalt is in design of a 4 toed dragon chasing flaming pearl.
There is a red wax seal on the unglazed bottom of bowl which many years ago were attached which would guarantee Chinese customs for export and authenticity of the item as well as those with great age.
It's just an amazing antique decorative art piece with good weight to the bowl.
This bowl is 7" wide across the rim, 4" in height, 3" deep and 20" around.
