This unique one-of-a-kind beautiful clear white and dichroic colored plate is a perfect.
This unique one-of-a-kind beautiful clear, white and dichroic colored plate is a perfect gift for housewarmings, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, celebrations or just because! This would look fabulous in your home! Great for serving cakes, cookies, cheese and crackers, or fruit. Use it as a centerpiece with candles or anything you can think of.
It is comprised of 2 layers. The base is clear glass and the second layer is an a clear and white stringer glass. White frit (very small pieces of glass) is added to the sides and dichroic glass to give it sparkle.
Everything is hand cut by me with a hand cutter including the small pieces. I put it in my kiln for approximately 24 hours to meld the layers into one. I then slump it to give it its shape by placing the piece over a mold and putting it back into the kiln for another 24 hours. I clean and hand polish it and it's ready for you.
Because I hand cut each piece, each sheet of glass is unique and the kiln process, no two are identical.
Size: It is approximately 11 1/4 x 11 1/4 inches. The corners are raised approximately 1/2 inch. The plate has texture.

Care and cleaning instructions: It is recommended to hand wash with warm water and a non abrasive soap and cloth. NOT MICROWAVABLE!! DO NOT PLACE IN DISHWASHER.
It is recommended to use an electric or battery operated candle or light but not necessary.
If using a candle, please spot clean the dish with a sponge dipped in hot water. The heat helps break up the wax. Then wipe it with a paper towel or gently scrape with a credit card. Use a wooden skewer or chopstick to dig out the wax between the pieces.
Please note: The online photos will give you the general idea of the color and texture of each piece. Depending on the settings on your monitor the color may be slightly altered.
