I order love the 1920's black bead work on net in these two vintage dress panels. The vintage sequin work is beautifully done. I especially love the strands of tiny beads that hang and move as the wearer walks or dances. Lovely! These would make a beautiful addition to an historic clothing collection, very gently used for salvage, or enjoyed for study.
There are TWO panels. They appear to be salvaged and are pretty straight across at the top. My theory is that they are skirt panels meant to be free floating; one on the front and one on the back.
The "Front" section is the more ornate. it measures 19" in length and the width is 15" at the top and 17" at the bottom. The netting is broken in several areas. The beadwork and sequins are sound and don't appear to be loose or falling off.
The "Back section is 20" long and the width is about 20.5" at the top and 23.5 at the bottom. The netting has holes in it, but the bead work and sequins are sound.
