order Original Oil Landscape Painting,
Gorse scrub at Cratloe woods
A painting of an overcast day in February, slopes where trees are cleared or thinned out quickly become a dense thicket of broken and gorse scrub. Gorse blooms with vibrant yellow flowers almost all year round in Ireland, but does tend to look at its best in early spring just after winter. It's said that "when gorse is out of bloom, kissing is out of season."
Cratloe woods is lovely place to walk and though in county Clare it's a very short distance from Limerick city.
Measures 24x32cm on canvas board
Signed on the front Cait Osborne.
Colours may appear slightly different due to variations in monitor settings.
Paintings will be packaged carefully.
