- Surgical steel: does not tarnish, durable, superior treatment adding additional protection. Suitable for very sensitive ears and significant allergies. May not be suitable for very sensitive people who need a precious metal like sterling silver or gold.

Small rubber fasteners are provided with the hooks to prevent the hook from falling out of the ear.
