Order Antique Beaded Bag Pouch Style Purse Aubergine Beads Gold Silver Beads Turquoise Tone Beads Bead Tassel Late 1800 Early 1900

Fabulous antique beaded pouch hand bag. We are placing this in late 1800s or early 1900s The body of the purse is in aubergine beads (deep purple). Handkerchief style tabs are bordered in 6 rows of silver baguettes following the outline of the V's. The tabs appear center & sides. The tabs are filled in the center with gold metallic fabric grid in tear drop shape. The grid is covered with gold tone, silver tone and small turquoise tone beads. A 3 " beaded tassel is at the cone shape bottom. The 2 straps are beaded in aubergine and lined in melon tone silk. See condition report below. The interior is lined in the melon tone silk. A beaded finger loop is attached to one side with thread.
Size: 7" long without the 3" tassel; 22" at widest circumference; 15" straps
Condition: NOTE--the silk lining is showing signs of shredding. The straps are especially affected--see pics. The interior lining is in pretty good shape with no major shredding except at one edge. In terms of the straps, the lining could be removed as they were sewn with separate seam from interior lining. We are order leaving that to buyer's discretion. Beading is in good shape, currently we are not noting loose beading or loss of beads during our handling.
