I use recycled/reused boxes for shipping my articles as it is more environmentally friendly and vintage and antique items do not fit in most available standard-sized boxes.
Some of the boxes I use to ship my articles may have signs of old shipping labels, writing, or other markings on their exterior.
I do my best not to use plastic, I pack most of my parcels using kraft paper. I'm currently using standard packaging tape but I'm testing paper packaging tape to see if it is suitable for long-distance shipping.
Please recycle or reuse these materials as much as possible.

All of my parcels are insured.
It is very rare that articles are damaged in transit.
PARCELS HAVE TO BE OPENED IN THE PRESENCE OF THE DELIVERY PERSON FOR THE INSURANCE TO BE VALID. POLITELY EXPLAIN THIS TO THE DELIVERY PERSON / COURIER.
ALWAYS HAVE A BOX CUTTER OR OTHER TOOL READY TO OPEN YOUR PARCEL AS COURIERS MAY TRY TO LEAVE ONCE YOU HAVE SIGNED FOR YOUR PARCEL.
INSURANCE WILL NOT BE PAID IF THE DELIVERY PERSON OR COURIER HAS NOT PROVIDED A SLIP STATING THAT THE CONTENTS OF THE PARCEL HAVE BEEN DAMAGED.
The original parcel and packaging have to be retained for insurance claims.
Insurance claims for damaged or lost parcels can take up to 14 weeks to be processed by shipping companies despite the fact that I will make the claim immediately, no refund will be issued during this time.
I have to be contacted within 24hrs of receipt of damaged articles with a clear photo of all shipping labels, damaged articles, and photos of the exterior of the parcel. I will provide these photos for the insurance claim process.
Your phone number, shipping address, and email address will only be shared with the shipping company that is used to ship your parcel.

If you have any questions about these conditions please do not hesitate to contact me.
