We are pleased to offer this amazing set of four salt and pepper shakers. They are round. They come with their original gift box (with the name of the Mexican silver shop in Mexico City on it). Also included is a small "hecho en Mexico" card signed by a number of individuals, as well as a cloth silver bag from Portland, Maine. (Perhaps these were a gift from workmates?)
Each shaker is stamped on the bottom plug, "M. Peregrina" and "0900" in a rectangle. The number is the percentage of silver, which is just short of sterling which is 925.
These weigh in at 192 grams total. They are about the size of golf balls, 1.5" wide and 1-3/8" high.
The box says that the silver shop "Eddie's" was right across the street from Hotel Geneve. Here some information on that venerable business:

They are in very nice as-found estate condition. I lightly polished them. One has a green spot on the plug.
