Product code: Antique 1794 order English Georgian Sterling Silver Gilded Fruit Bowl Serving Spoon

Presented is an antique, English sterling silver serving spoon made by John Robins of London in 1794. This late 18th century spoon is done in a classic Georgian design. The bowl has a gold wash and raised, detailed fruit decorations. The handle has a rounded tip and there may have been a professional monogram removal, but it is hard to tell for sure.

The back of the spoon is marked with the crowned leopard's head for London, the lion passant for sterling silver, a duty mark of the king's head, a date letter t for the year 1794 and a maker's mark for John Robins.

This piece is in excellent overall condition, especially for its age, and the designs are crisp. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, and no repairs.

Length: 8 1/2 inches.
