Medusa order Angel

I love drawing Medusas AND I love order drawing angels . . . so here's a combo of both. I have more of these in my sketchbook, and I like interpreting them in different ways. This one is a charcoal and conté crayon (compressed charcoal) piece. I am obsessed with drawing wings, too . . . and as many detailed realistic drawings as I do in sketchbooks, of wings, I tend to simplify when I am doing my finished art pieces.
