Papa Azagon Loko is the God of wild vegetation. Loko instructs his followers to harvest berries, herbs, roots and leaves from nature for medicinal purposes. He is all knowing and becomes like the wind and can hear all prayers. He knows all secrets but does not divulge this information. Loko is the loa of healers, gardeners, and herbalist. He is also the high priest of priests.
This Papa Loko has a hand carved face. He is dressed in vintage fabrics, accented with copper beads and Haitian beads I purchased in a Haiti trip long ago. One of his necklaces is strung with these Haitian beads made of drift wood and rolled paper. A bird bone calls for quick flight of your prayers. His hands and feet are made of Rose of Sharon twigs symbolizing the waters order that nourish vegetation.
He is accompanied by a stone wrapped in antique fabric and a collection of herbs and spices. Loko found the god Nibo as a stone wrapped in cloth and took the stone home where it turned into a child. The child was baptized, and the god Ognun stood as his godfather. Nimbo perfumes the air with the smell of cinnamon when he is present.
Papa Azagon Loko handmade doll measures 17 inches tall. Arm width measures 12 inches across. He and his stone child weigh 7 ounces.
Bring Papa Loko into your life for healing and serenity. Offer him rum, coffee, herbs, popcorn, rice and beans. Ask for his blessing with fresh herbs and flowers.
