Product code: The "Floral Brooch" Beading Kit (inspired order by www.ContemporaryGeometricBeadwork.com)

Would you like a project that results in a whimsical accessory? The my “Floral Brooch” design and beading kit is for you! Each multi-colored brooch measures approximately 2 3/4" from petal tip to petal tip and is composed of twenty-three colors (twenty-four for the “Tiger Lily”)! I'm offering the kit in the three colourways shown: “Blue Dahlia” (blues/lime/lavender) shown in the second photo as well as the lovely “Tiger Lily” (rust/ chartreuse/pink/green) and “Passion Flower” (pink/lavender/lime/coral) colourways shown in the third photo. But of course, you can select the “Custom Color Request” option if you prefer different colourways…just be sure to tell me the colors you would like in the “Note to Seller” area when checking out and I'll put a kit together exclusively for you! Please note: because selecting and coordinating other colors is labor intensive, there is a $5 surcharge for custom color requests.

Although these three brooches look different, they all work off the same pattern! The “Blue Dahlia” brooch is shown just as the tutorial is written. The “Tiger Lily” followed the tutorial exactly too, but to make it look a bit different, after finishing the brooch I twisted the tips of the large petals so they all faced the same direction. I like how that technique give the petals a pinwheel effect! The “Passion Flower” brooch (shown at the upper right of the first photo) was my first foray into creating the beaded brooch. You'll notice it has more open space at the inner rim of the large petals…that's because I didn't add the rows of Charlottes that are called for in the pattern to the inner and outer edges of the large petals. You can omit the Charlottes in any colourway to achieve the same effect. Note: the placement of drop beads on the “Passion Flower” brooch were improved upon when I wrote the tutorial so your finished brooch will have drop beads placed as order shown on the “Blue Dahlia” and “Tiger Lily” brooches (center and upper left in the first photo).

Each kit contains twenty-three colors (twenty-four colors for “Tiger Lily” colourway) of the following bead types:
*Delica beads
*Toho Seed beads
*Myuki Drop beads
*Toho Magatamas
*Swarovski bicone crystals
*15/0 Czech Charlotte beads
*One Czech Bullet bead
*Sequins
*One brass pin back
*Clear and concise step-by-step instructions accompanied by large full-color photos
*4x6 inch color photo

This project is recommended for the intermediate to advanced beader.

*Please note: I do not include needles or thread in my kits as most beaders have personal preferences regarding these materials.

You may sell items made from this tutorial with the condition that you credit me as the designer.
