This limited edition print is from an acrylic painting I created after spending time in Africa. Sketching from life is a vital part of my work - it teaches me about animal anatomy and behavior, is a great way to improve my artistic skills and is also highly addictive. When I am back in the studio I use my sketchbooks to create my painting compositions.

My limited editions are created by a professional printer who scans the original painting. We then color correct the image together and create printed proofs. The edition size is only 10 copies, all signed and numbered by me. The print should be matted and framed under glass or acrylic (plexi-glass). It is important to use a frame with a mat so that the print does not come into direct contact with the glass or acrylic. As with all artwork it is best to hang the framed print in a position with good light but out of order direct sunlight.

I make a donation to African conservation organizations from every sale of my art. Some of the organizations I support are African People & Wildlife (Tanzania), Painted Dog Research Trust (Zimbabwe) and Cheetah Conservation Fund (Namibia).
