Jury Gagarin has made the first piloted flight in space on April, 12th, 1961! April 12, 1961, USSR Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin aboard the spacecraft Vostok One blasted through the Earth's atmosphere to became the first man in space. The watch he wore and relied upon during that historic flight was a Sturmanskie (sometimes written "Shturmanskie").

Sight in the very good cosmetic and hard-working condition (it was verified by the watchmaker, cleaned and lubricated).


This is an old vintage watch by “Pobeda” ( eng.Victory) made in USSR in first Moscow watch Factory in 60s. This is not only a time keeper but a collectible watch too.
This watch is in a fully order working order. Mechanical movement, manual winding.
The watch comes with brand new, high quality leather band handmade!!!

Each watch has been totally serviced by professional watchmaker and a brand new quality genuine leather wristband included

“Pobeda”(“Victory”) watches were made by the First Moscow watch factory, Kirov following the Second World War in 1946. The name of the watches was personally endorsed by Stalin. “Pobeda” watches were very popular throughout the Soviet Union time. Later, the brand name “Pobeda” was transferred to the ZIM factory.
