Frame in Solid Oak of the Artisanal Limousin, entirely handmade, full blade no end or paneling.
High quality oak cut for 170 years and stored in the shelter.
The frame is massive, heavy and solid, the assembly according to the methods of classic cabinetry is reliable and durable.
I cut the oak blades myself in the workshop from plank or beam stored in my barn, former village sawmill depot. They are then unhinged and then planed and finally cut to provide a perfectly finished and calibrated wood for the frame assembly before its finish.
The frame is fully sanded with two successive grains (80 and 120) giving it a touch of great softness.
The model of the photo is a 70x100cm. The width of the framing band is fixed by 7cm and the thickness of 15mm providing a robustness and infallible rigidity. This section of old oak wood makes this frame an attractive and pleasant object to the touch. The edges are 45 degrees shawny and can be machined in quarter-round or straight-edged edges. The studs are screwed and glued to ensure long-lasting strength.
Ideal to highlight any visual of your choice the frame is available in two sizes or according to your own measurements of height, width and thickness of framing, contact me to refine your request and get a quote.
The frame is closed at the back by a light medium, covered with a white finish on the inside so that it can frame smaller elements and allow neutral margins to appear, a removable background.
Two horizontal and vertical central fasteners are mounted to be able to suspend it. order
