This is a 3D Waldorf and nature inspired landscape, play-mat, playground with mushrooms, little pond, stream, flowers and pebbles.

Ideal for your Waldorf season table or for you/for your children to play stories on it.
There are two large mushrooms, red white dotted and yellow-brown. Both have two little ones with similar color caps. The caps of the small mushrooms can be removed, so you can pick them :)
A large cave with flowers embroidered on it, animals can hid and sleep in it.
The blue pond with sedges, and the steam with white-grey pebbles on its shore give more possibility for pretend play.
Small flowers are embroidered by hand on the ground, around the pond and the cave.
The whole mat and also the figures are wet felted and suitable for children to play with them.
Not suitable for children who may swallow small items.

TECHNIQUE
I used the wet felt technique to create it, which results a strong, durable landscape. The material of the play-mat is 100% natural, it is wool (natural or dyed). I use only my hands, water and soap for this process.
Wet felting technique is an ancient art craft where natural wool, water and soap are used to create a unique and durable fabric.

The price includes the felted landscape. You can buy felted figures in separate auctions.

CARE:
Clean by hand in lukewarm water with some soap, dry it in the air. Never use spin or drying machine for this product. In case of big stains you can use wash it in a washing machine but only the at the delicate wool program. Dry it flat, adjust the 3D element back into the original form while it is wet.
Can be ironed through a wet cotton fabric.
