Product code: VNTG order Inland Glass Works Atomic Glass Starburst Tray Converted to Working Clock
This Inland Glass Works "Atomic Glass" Starburst Clock Service Tray converted to a clock~in gold, black, and white~would look incredible in any order mid century modern kitchen. A one-of-a-kind piece! This Inland Glass Works "Atomic Glass" Starburst Clock Service Platter was made in Chicago, Illinois between 1959 and 1962 as confirmed by the pattern. Based on initials on the base it was converted to an actual clock in 1983. The clock which measures 13.75" X 13.75" and sits 1.25" tall is in excellent preowned condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. Amazing to be in such wonderful condition. Written in pencil on the back: W6783. Clock mechanism uses a C battery. I will include the battery with it. There is no rust or corrosion to the mechanism and the hands are original. Ready to hang on the wall. I have cleaned it but I hesitated to scrub the back too hard as did not want to remove any of the white paint. Weighs 3 pounds 3 ounces. Smoke free pet friendly home.
