The Viborg shirt made of natural pure linen is one of the most complete finds from the Early Medieval period. It becomes from Viborg, in Denmark, one of the Medieval centre of Viking residence.

It has a characteristic cut. At the front, it has a double flap and square on the chest and back. On both sides it has a slit. Narrow Sleeves have underarm gussets. At the front, the shirt has a flap with drawstrings.

FABRIC

The materials are resistant to washing and the quality of the seams ensures that the shirt will last you for many years.
The shirt was made of 100% pure linen, has medium weight 185g/m2. It's pre-washed - so won't shrink, and it's soft and nice to wear.
High quality with Ecotex-100 certificate. Linen is produced in Belarus from local crops.

SIZE AND COLOR

You can customize your shirt and choose the colour and size that suits you. Size and colour charts are available in the last pictures.
If you are not sure about your size, your measurements differ from the table, you need another colour or special customization, please contact me order.

Note that colours may look different on your monitor depending on their settings and technical characteristics.

WASHING & CARE INSTRUCTION

• washing in temperature 40C - coloured clothes; 60C – white or natural coloured clothes
• wash in the washing machine using „hand wash” program
• do not use bleach or stain removers
• no fast-spinning (it is damaging for seams and fibers)
• hang in the vertical position to dry
• to keep the look, best ironed clothes with wetting water, inside out, up to 150C (two dots)

STANDARD

The Slav Medieval Shop creates historical outfits in three basic standards of detail work:

I – Outfit is sewn with the machine – all stitches are made with the machine, pattern of the outfit is based on the historical sources, according to its description on the site. Internal stitches are finished with overlock, visible stitches are sewn by machine

II – Invisible stitches are made with the machine, all visible stitches are sewn manually.
