See what the Middle East looked like over 155 years ago in the early 1860's, when many of the countries still had ancient place-names. Lots of charming, intricate details and geological contours, including mountains, islands, counties and rivers. Hand colored. Verso is a chronological history of The Great Rebellion, aka the American Civil War.
Perfect for the historian, map-lover, the curious or just as a conversation starter. Wonderful and rare. Vintage maps such as these make great gifts.
