I never noticed how many rooster patterns I had until I started to name them. So this one order is called Yard Bird, an old fashioned name for chickens.
This narrow fabric is from the 1930s and 1940s and designed for lightweight kitchen curtains. It's sheer enough to let light through, and lightweight enough to float on the breeze through an open window. Measures 108 inches long by 36 wide.
This is a classic pattern in primary colors of red, yellow, and green with roosters, coffee pots, rolling pins, cream pitchers, and a cuckoo clock. No writing on the selvedge, so all you have to do is make a rod pocket at the top and hem bottom. It's perfect for kitchen windows.
The background white is consistent on this fabric. It's a clean white background and the other colors are bright.
